So in 1988 I decided to write an article about 3D stuff and send it to a magazine to try and get it published. The magazine was Ahoy!, a title dedicated to Commodore computers. To my shock, I received a contract to sign and return mere days later!

I have to admit that it's a pretty sweet feeling to get something you wrote published in a print magazine!

Just click on the image and have a read.

And don't worry about copyright and all that, they also went out of business in 1988.

Before I got paid.

I'm not bitter about it...

... most of the time.

What's that, you want a copy of the program you say? But of course, here you go!

Yup. In 1998 you had to copy the programs from magazines, and I didn't even include all the pages!

So you went ahead and typed all the gibberish from those pages on your little computer and hoped nothing would crash or you would lose like 3 hours of typing. Yeah, I'm that old... But we did have a lot of fun still!
